“We used em dashes before AI was a thing”  (IFYKYK)

Your Words Should Sound Likethe Sharpest Version of You.

Executive editing for C-suite leaders who can’t afford to sound generic. AI catches the errors. I catch what AI creates—and I actually love doing it.

What keeps leaders up at night isn’t bad writing.
It’s writing that quietly undermines them.

You’re commanding in a room. On stage, you’re electric. But somewhere between your brain and the page, something gets lost. And in a world flooded with AI-generated noise, that gap has never had higher stakes.

The AI Aftertaste

Your audience can feel when something reads like a machine wrote it — even if they can’t put their finger on what’s off. That subtle flatness is doing real damage to your credibility before you’ve said a word. You didn’t work this hard to sound like everyone else.

The Lost Voice

You didn’t spend years building your philosophy and leadership point of view just to have it sanded down into something generic. The fear isn’t bad writing — it’s losing the voice that makes you distinctly you. An editor who “fixes” that out of your work isn’t helping. They’re taking something.

The One-Shot Moment

A book isn’t a blog post you can quietly fix after publishing. A board deck goes out once. A keynote intro gets one chance to land. When the stakes are that high, “pretty good” isn’t good enough — and you know it.

AI can draft it. Only a human can make it sound like you.

Where other editors fix what’s wrong,
I protect what’s right.

Your authority, your cadence, the distinct way you think on the page. There’s a difference between an editor who improves your writing and one who makes it more you.

01

Human AI-Detection Instinct

I catch the subconscious tells that mark AI-assisted content — the flat rhythm, the hedged phrasing, the sentence that’s technically correct but somehow too even. Before your audience notices, I already have.

02

Voice Preservation, Not Voice Replacement

Most editors fix what’s broken. My job is to protect what’s strong — your rhythm, your distinctions, the way you phrase an idea that no one else would. Polished but never sanitized. Better, but still unmistakably you.

03

EOS & Operator Fluency

I understand how business leaders communicate, what a strong executive voice sounds like in a boardroom versus a keynote, and why the writing that works in your world is different from everything else out there. I’ve learned this world. I like it here.

04

A Partnership, Not a Transaction

The second year of working together is worth more than the first — because I’ve learned your voice, your standards, and how you think. This isn’t a cleanup service. It’s the kind of working relationship that gets better every time.

Editorial services for leaders who need to get it right.

From book manuscripts to board decks, every piece of writing that carries your name deserves someone who treats your voice as something to protect.

Book Editing

Full manuscript editing for business books and executive nonfiction, developmental, line, and copy editing that sharpens every sentence while keeping your voice intact. Your book should open doors, spark conversations, and make the right people sit up. Let’s make sure it does all three.

Executive Communications

Board decks, investor updates, keynote scripts, and high-stakes memos. The writing that defines how your team, your board, and your market see you, edited to match who you actually are in a room. The version that goes out should sound like your best day, not your average Tuesday.

Ongoing Editorial Retainer

For leaders who want a trusted editor on call, not just for the book, but for everything that follows. Monthly partnership built on knowing your voice well enough that the turnaround gets faster and the quality gets higher the longer we work together.

From second-guessing to sending with confidence.

Before

Chaotic Drafts

Messy AI drafts, a chaotic brain-dump of a manuscript, and memos that cause internal confusion.

Lingering Doubt

Low-grade anxiety about sending or publishing something that exposes the gap between who you are and how you write.

Trapped Brilliance

Great ideas trapped in your head or diluted by AI into something flat and forgettable.

After

Ready to Send

A publication-ready manuscript and crystal-clear communications that drive immediate action.

Quiet Confidence

Quiet confidence — the kind that comes from knowing the work represents you well. Done means done.

Doors Opening

Writing as sharp as your ideas. A book that opens conversations you never could have started cold.

Trusted by executives, authors,
and business leaders.

I got into this because I genuinely love words.
I stayed because I love what they do for people.

I’ve spent my career in the margins — literally. Editing manuscripts, marking up decks, leaving notes that I hope land like a helpful colleague rather than a red pen. What keeps me here isn’t the grammar. It’s the moment a client reads something back and says, “Yes — that’s exactly what I meant to say.”

That’s the thing I’m chasing on every project.

I believe that choosing the right word, the right structure, and the right rhythm is an act of care — for the reader and for the leader whose name is on the work. In a world where AI can produce “technically correct” faster than you can blink, the writing that actually moves people is the writing that sounds unmistakably human. My job is to make sure yours does.

I specialize in business nonfiction, executive communications, and the kind of editorial relationship that gets better the longer we work together. I’m serious about the craft. I’m not serious about myself. And I genuinely look forward to the projects that land in my inbox.

If you’re working on something that matters to you — a book, a keynote, a communication that has to land right — I’d love to hear about it.
